- Sean Stender (NS Class of 2000, NS Hall Of Fame Member, former UNI Div I All-American and current assistant wrestling coach at UNI) earns bronze at the Dmitri Korkin International Championships in Yakutsk, Russia on October 12, 2008. See article here.

- Ben Ellis (NS Class of 2007) is a junior wrestling for the University of Dubuque.

- Brodie Ambrose (NS Class of 2007) is redshirt sophmore wrestling for the University of Iowa.

- Stu Gillmor (NS Class of 2007) is a redshirt sophmore wrestling for the University of Iowa

Alumni News

1/31/09 - North Scott Wrestling Alumni Brodie Ambrose saw varsity action as an Iowa Hawkeye during the Oklahoma State Dual. Brodie's match can be seen below (courtesy of Flowrestling) even though the commentator refers to him as Chad Beatty.

Speaking of Brodie, current North Scott Wrestling Club Member Joe Swoboda was in Iowa City during the Hawkeye/Wisconsin dual to cheer on the former North Scott Wrestler.

6/4/09 - North Scott Wrestling Alum, Brodie Ambrose, placed 2nd at the FILA Junior World Team Trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado during the weekend of May 23.
