Big Week for North Scott Wrestling.
First, North Scott's first home meet of the season is Assumption on Thursday, Dec. 22 with wrestling beginning at 6 pm. Then, Friday is the Lancer Midwest Youth Wrestling Tournament.

Junior High Wrestling Season Begins Thursday at Clinton
North Scott Junior High Wrestlers begin the season against Clinton and Muscatine at Clinton High School on November 3. Wrestling begins at approximately 4 pm.

K-1st Grade: Thurs, Nov 3 in Jr. High School Wrestling Room from 6:00 – 6:45pm

August 21, 2011 Meeting Announcement
We are having an initial meeting to discuss ongoing safety concerns related to the existing North Scott Wrestling Room. This meeting will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, August 24 at the Rustic Ridge Clubhouse in Eldridge.
At this meeting, we would like to discuss a plan of action to voice our concerns to the school board members and the candidates. We want to invite them to meet with us and let them know we believe a new wrestling room should be the next item on the agenda for improvement. The next school board meeting is scheduled for September 12 and the election is on September 13.
Additionally, we would like to have as many people as possible attend this meeting so please feel free to pass this along to any others that might be willing to support this effort.
North Scott wins 2nd consecutive team championship at Luther College Team Wrestling Camp. The camp was held from July 6th-July 9th.

The North Scott team finished 1st place out of 16 teams including schools from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Kansas. This was the 2nd year in a row the team has won the overall team championship. The championship is won by earning points for dual meet and team building wins. The Lancers went 4-1 in team building activities and 10-0 in dual meets competition to finish with a total team score of 170 points. In dual competition the Lancers won their pool by defeating Blue Earth, MN 45-6, Norwalk, IA 47-21, Rochester John Marshall, MN 42-18, Merrill, WI 24-20, Hugoton, KS 36-30, Atlantic, IA 39-25, Westby, WI 21-18, Valley-Elgin, IA 37-22. After advancing to the championship bracket the Lancers beat Central Dewitt, IA 34-27, Sauk Prairie, WI 40-12. The top 4 teams received trophies for their efforts. The top 5 schools were North Scott 170 pts., Merrill, WI 150 pts., Hugoton, KS 130 pts, Sauk Prairie, WI 115 pts and Rochester John Marshall, MN 105 pts. Two members of the team were awarded “Camper of the Day” for their outstanding effort and performance which included Mitch Bowman and Keenan Feldpausch.
